  • The Alexander, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Yerevan is looking for an experienced and talented candidate for the position of the Director of Food & Beverage who will oversee the development and implementation of departmental strategies and ensure implementation of the brand service strategy and brand initiatives, ensure the food and beverage/culinary operation meets the brand’s target customer needs, ensure employee satisfaction, and focus on growing revenues and maximizing the financial performance of the department.

    Job duties
     Ensures that each food and beverage outlet and banquet is managed successfully as an independent profit center
     Sets expectations and holds food and beverage leadership team accountable for demonstrating desired service behaviors
     Develops and manages all financial, employee engagement and guest satisfaction plans and actions for Food and Beverage department
     Develops and implements promotions, food and wine pairings, menu items and presentations
     Monitors all costs and recommends measures to control them
     Monitors service and food and beverage standards in all outlets and banquets
     Monitor and analyze the activities and trends of competitive restaurants, bars and other hotel's banqueting departments
     Makes recommendations for CAPEX funding of food and beverage equipment and renovations in accordance with brand business strategy
     Other related duties as assigned

    Required qualifications
     High school diploma, degree from an accredited university in Food Service Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration or related major is preferred
     At least 6 years of experience in the food and beverage, culinary or related professional area preferred in luxury setting
     Great attention to detail and creativity
     Communication and leadership skills
     Guest-oriented and service-minded
     Ability to manage personnel and meet financial targets
